Party Foods Specifically Meant for Pregnant Women.

Are you throwing a party and you have a few or maybe all attendants are expectant mums, and you don’t know what to serve them, here are some food suggestion to help you with that:



1. Fruit and Vegetable Salads

A mixture of fruits and slices of vegetables would be a great addition to your party meal menu. Pregnant women are likely to reject any food but not a colorful array of fruits and leafy greens. You can serve fruits such as green apple, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, raspberries, cranberries, dates, mango, etc.

Some of the best cookies are chocolate cookies which will release some dopamine hormones into her body and make her feel good for the rest of the afternoon or evening- depending on the time of the party. You can then pull them off and serve it at the party or you can leave it on the skewer for those who would prefer to eat it like that. You can serve bread or buns on the side to eat with the skewered meat.

Most pregnant women use ice cream as a cure for heartburn. It can be added as one of the menus and the fact that it would safely be kept in the refrigerator will make it look safe to lick for pregnant women who are extra-sensitive about eating out during pregnancy.



7. Lime and chili Grilled Corn

This is a sweet and sour addition that could be added to a party menu. It would make a pregnant woman crunch all night and probably keep her mentally alert.



8. King Prawn and Dipping Sauce

This is one yummy food every pregnant woman would love to have a taste. It could also help them reach their recommended daily allowance of nutrients such as omega 3 and protein.



9. Pita Chips with hummus

You can also serve this to pregnant women in your party. The salt content of the chips helps not to make them feel nauseous when eating and it could also prevent bloating. The hummus addition makes it more delicious and satisfying.



10. Sandwiches

Sandwiches with various filing such as harm, turkey, pimento, chicken, Benedictine, or omelet can be served at parties with pregnant women in attendance.



11. Juice
